PACT REPORT. No crimes were reported for September and October. Incidents of mud on the road were reported on the 18th and the 24th, the council was notified.
The PACT team will endeavour to attend the Wednesday coffee mornings whenever possible.

MINUTES. Minutes of the Parish Council meeting of 3 September 2013 were read and signed as a true record by Cllr Pelter.

MATTERS ARISING. Potholes from Village Hall to Crosslands reported 6.2.13 ENV288929. Road closure 22nd to 27th November to re-surface the highway. Streetlight No6 on all day near Hillside, Church St ENV2375. Hedge cut back on Church Street. Dog fouling around the village continues despite notices being displayed.

BUSINESS INTRODUCED BY COUNCILLORS: William Sturgeon picture and replica of his invention, electro-magnet, removed from Dragon's head Hotel, a glass cabinet made and placed in Whittington Village Hall. Potholes along Docker Lane and Keer Holme Lane. Blocked gullies by Lune Lane End, Newton. Councillors agreed to support Hornby with Farleton Parish Council with regard to Hornby Swimming Pool.
