PACT REPORT. report for July and August:
Crimes: There have been no crimes reported in July and August. This compares with 3 during the same 2 months of 2011.
Incidents: On 2 July, mud on the road was reported early morning. The council was notified. On 3 August a report of cows on the road was received, and when a patrol arrived 15-20 mins later, there was no sign of them. On 26 August at 07:15 a call came in about a vehicle on its side, after hitting a wall. Fortunately injuries were only slight.

MINUTES. Minutes of the Parish Council meeting on 3rd July 2012 were read and signed as a true record by Cllr Pelter.

MATTERS ARISING. Gulley cleaning at Mackereth corner completed. Potholes in Docker continue to be a problem (ENV237198). Community Payback Scheme completed. Bench by Sellet Mill corner to be moved and another from the village put in place. Floral Competition judged by John Hawley, Head Gardner for The National Trust. Envelope prizes to be awarded at the Harvest Supper.

CORRESPONDENCE. LALC training workshops: Risk Assessment; Employment (Clerk proposes to participate shared costs with Arkholme PC) Community Engagement; LALC agenda & minutes of last meeting. Dates of next meetings September 24th Whittington Village Hall, November 26th Galgate Village Hall. Lancaster City Council (& NALC) Code of Conduct adopted at this meeting. Clerks & Council Direct July newsletter. Local Government Boundary Commission for England: Electoral Review of Lancaster. Lancashire County Council superfast broadband proposed coverage and consumer alerts notification.

FINANCES. Balances in bank accounts: Current £3159.82 Bonus Saver £1118.01 Annual return for year ended 31st March 2012 external audit completed and agreed by Cllrs. Issue arising by BBO LLP is that fidelity guarantee set with Insurers AON is at £5000.00 and requires increasing, Cllrs propose to review May 2013.

406 £700 Whittington Village Hall S137 donation towards refurbishment (Cllrs Pelter and Atkinson delared an interest and abstained from decision making, Cllr Hall sent agreement by proxy correspondence).
407 £302.28 Post Office Ltd (H.M. Revenue Services for unpaid tax and interest accrued.
