POLICE REPORT. No representation of the police at the meeting.
MATTERS ARISING. . Cllr. Hodgson reported an unsatisfactory outcome to his discussion with Armstrong's about the servicing of the strimmer. After discussion it was decided that Cllr. Pelter will enquire at the agency in Ingleton about it.
Neither the wall at Newton nor the bridge at Docker has been repaired. Clerk to follow up again.
CORRESPONDENCE Various items had been circulated. The clerk had responded positively, as requested, to the consultation on extending the age range of Carnforth High School to 18yrs.
FINANCES The Current Acc. stands at £1621.98. The Bonus Savings Acc. at £2095.95
Received since the last meeting; £160.00 payment for sporting rights on Town Quarry. Whittington Hall Estates have agreed a further 3 year lease on the sporting rights.
Cheques signed at the meeting; No.000370 to NW Air Ambulance, £300.00. No.000371 to Wagtail Playgroup & Toddlers, £150.00. No.000372 to Arkholme Brownies £50.00.
A request for funding for new chairs from Whittington Village Hall was deferred to the next meeting.

OTHER MATTERS.
Cllr Hodgson reported that the City Council will take over the grass cutting in amenity areas from the County Council. A letter and map of the areas affected had been received.Clerk requested to write to the Chief surveyor complaining about the poor state of the roads throughout the parish and beyond.
The Annual Parish Assembly will take place on Tuesday 26th April at 8pm.
